Boeing will use a 787 destined for Air India to perform in the flying display at next week's Paris air show.

The company posted this image of the Dreamliner at the Le Bourget show site on social media website Twitter on 13 June.

Paris 787 Air India

Up until last year's Farnborough air show, where it flew a Qatar Airways 787, the Seattle airframer had a long-running policy of not performing in displays. However, on the back of its success at the UK show, Boeing will again put up one of its aircraft.

Air India has a total of 21 of the GEnx-1B-powered aircraft on order, with six in service according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database.

A Qatar 787 will also be on the static display in Paris.
