Fast-growing aircraft lessor Air Lease has signed a memorandum of understanding for 50 Airbus A320neo family aircraft, including 14 options.
The lessor, established by Steven Udvar-Hazy a little over a year ago, has also placed firm orders for 11 A330s and an A321.
Deliveries of the A320neos will begin in 2016 and run until the first half of 2019. No engine selection has been confirmed for the type.
The A330s cover a mix of -200/-300s. Deliveries begin this November and will run until September 2012.
