France's ENAC national school of civil aviation has contracted Daher-Socata to upgrade its 37-strong TB20 Trinidad fleet with Garmin's G500 avionics suite.
The glass cockpit equipment comprises a primary flight and separate multifunction display, the GNS430W satellite navigation and radio communication unit and a GAD43 autopilot.
The display features include Garmin's synthetic vision system and Jeppesen ChartView functionality.
A number of aircraft already equipped with GNS communication-navigation units will be upgraded to wide-area augmentation system navigation capability.
