The US Federal Aviation Administration has named Alan Moore as director of the Airway Facilities Service, overseeing 11,000 employees responsible for navigation equipment at 6,000 FAA facilities across the USA, plus flight checks on ATC systems worldwide. FLS Aerospace has appointed Andrew Hoad as group quality and engineering manager. He was previously with HAECO in Hong Kong. Mike Hodgson, formerly of British Airways Engineering, joins the European maintenance specialist as head of operations. Garry Cullen has been appointed CEO at Caribbean airline LIAT. He was previously COO at Aer Lingus. London Luton Airport has named Graham Roberts as CEO. Roberts arrives from UK public transport company MTL Services. Automotive component executive and ex-US Navy pilot Patrick Laine has become MD of European aviation training at GE Capital Aviation Training based at London Gatwick. Cathay Pacific has appointed Kenny Tang as general manager cargo. He was previously seconded to subsidiary Air Hong Kong as COO. Walter Crawford has been named managing director of global communication and video solutions at spacecraft and space systems engineering specialist Ball Aerospace & Technologies. General Dynamics subsidiary Gulfstream Aerospace has named Jeffrey Lowe VP sales for Asia and the Philippines. Christopher Bernhardt, former president of Litton Data Systems, has been named president and CEO of US aerospace, defence, telecoms and space sub-systems specialist Stellex Technologies. Aircraft and flightcrew planning specialist Resource Management of Sweden has appointed Urban Deljerud president and CEO.
