Northrop Grumman has appointed Burks Terry corporate vice-president (VP) and general counsel, succeeding Richard Molleur, who is retiring. Howmet Castings, part of Alcoa Industrial Components, has named James Stanley president and chief executive. Stanley succeeds David Squier, who led Howmet for eight years and will remain as an advisor until October. US aircraft components and ground service manufacturer AAXICO Industries has made Adrian Wells general manager of its UK operation. Precision machining and sub- assembly manufacturer CPI Aerostructures has appointed Timothy Stone president of its New York-based Kolar facility. He replaces Dan Liguori. John MacDonald has been named executive VP and chief operating officer (COO) of the AvMan Group aviation consulting company, where he was senior associate. Walter Bylciw becomes executive VP military engine programmes for Pratt & Whitney. He was previously senior VP with the F119 programme, overseeing F-22 Raptor and JSF engine projects.
