Charles Ryan, president and chief operating officer of Nordam Group, was killed on 8 October in an aircraft crash north of Montreal. Two others died and five were injured. Nordam manufactures and repairs aircraft components. Mike Rowland has been named vice president for Gulfstream 100 and 200 programmes for Gulfstream Aerospace. In addition to overseeing the G100 and G200 programmes, Rowland will manage Gulfstream's relationship with Israel Aircraft Industries, manufacturer of the two aircraft. Before assuming the role, Rowland led Gulfstream's EC-37 programme, the special mission version of its Gulfstream V. Andrew Gray has been made British European commercial director to oversee the airline's sales, marketing and customer service. He has worked for Balkan Bulgarian, Virgin Express, and was also Air UK managing director. James Christiansen is to become Executive Jet vice president of national accounts for its NetJets programme. Until recently he was chief operating officer of TAG Aviation USA. He is also chairman of the National Air Transportation Association.
