• International Aero Engines (IAE) has named Jon Beatty to succeed president Mark King when he leaves the company next year to join Rolls-Royce. Beatty is currently Pratt & Whitney's vice-president of operational commercial engines. P&W has chosen Mike Field, currently vice-president of sales, marketing and customer support, as successor to Beatty. The company has separately appointed Jim Maser president of Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne.
