* Turbomeca has named Pierre-Yves Morvan as vice-president production. Morvan, previously deputy vice-president operations, takes over as head of the company's newly created production division. Emeric d'Arcimoles, Turbomeca's president and chief executive, is standing in as head of the company's operations divisions while a replacement is chosen for Philippe Catte, who has moved to Snecma's Meudon site as support manager for Hurel-Hispano.
* Montreal Jet Center has appointed John Liotta regional sales manager for aircraft technical services. He previously worked as mid-Atlantic area regional sales manager for Gulfstream Aerospace.
* Aluminum giant Alcoa has appointed Raymond Mitchell president of its aerospace castings subsidiary Howmet Castings. Mitchell, former president of Alcoa's wheel and forged products unit, succeeds Mario Longhi, recently named group president of global extruded and end products.
