Twelve Piedmontese aeronautical and space companies have set up a portal offering data and detailed information about products and services in the area.
Backed by the Turin Chamber of Commerce, the companies (Hall 1, 19B) are at the forefront of technological development in the northwestern Italian region. Piedmont is home to more than 100 aerospace companies, employing around 9,000 people with an annual turnover of over 1.3 billion-1.4 billion.
Alessandro Barberis, chairman of the Turin Chamber of Commerce, is looking forward to forging bonds with buyers and developing technical knowledge.
"The Paris show is the ideal occasion to put our companies in the global spotlight and promote their participation in the European network of Innovation Relay Centres," he says. "This enables Piedmontese businesses to discuss high-level technological issues with other companies on the international stage."
