The Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 flight deck enters service this spring aboard Cessna's Citation CJ1.
The Pro Line 21 standard equipment package on the CJ1 includes 10x8in high-resolution, liquid crystal Adaptive Flight Displays.
The pilot's Primary Flight Display and centre Multi-Function Display present all necessary flight information.
Pro Line 21 also provides display capability for weather and stormscope data and optional Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) and Traffic Alert Collision Avoidance System (TCAS).
The avionics suite includes Collins solid-state weather radar, dual-channel automatic flight control systems, ADS-3000 Air Data Sensor and the AHC-3000 Attitude Heading Computer.
The AHC-3000 uses new solid-state digital quartz gyro technology for improved reliability and lower costs.
Cessna has also selected Collins Pro Line 21 as standard avionics on the CJ2. It is scheduled for certification in the second quarter of this year.
