Northrop Grumman has won a US Navy competition to upgrade the EA-6BProwler electronic warfare aircraft to keep it in service until 2015. The Increased Capability-III upgrade, including a reactive jamming system to counter frequency-agile radars and new colour displays, is to become operational in 2004.
