Qatar Airways will open an Edinburgh-Doha route on 28 May 2014.
The airline will operate a five-times-weekly service between the Qatari and Scottish capitals, using a Boeing 787.
This will be the first time that aircraft type is used on a route to Edinburgh, which becomes Qatar’s third UK destination after London and Manchester.
