This photograph shows the first of 45 Beech/Pilatus PC-9 MkII primary trainers destined for the Hellenic Air Force on the tarmac at Wichita. Maj Gen Dmitrios Vidakis, Hellenic air force training commander, accepted the first aircraft during a ceremony at Wichita with Raytheon Aircraft president Hansel Tookes. The first 25 aircraft are configured similarly to the US T-6A Texan II primary trainer. The next 20 aircraft will be in the Greek New Trainer Aircraft configuration which includes a weapons sighting system.
