Eurowings has begun operating a three-times daily service between Dortmund and London City Airport. The airline is operating the 1.5h flight with a 44-seat ATR 42 and has timed the schedule to connect with flights to Munich and Paderborn. Garuda Indonesia has introduced the first non-stop service between Jakarta and Frankfurt. US Airways has begun daily Philadelphia-Barbados service, using an Airbus A320. British World Airlines is increasing its weekly Boeing 757 flights between London Gatwick and Freetown on behalf of Sierra National Airlines to twice weekly from 22 November. Northwest Airlines launched daily flights between Memphis and Montego Bay, Jamaica, on 1 November, replacing a service from Tampa. Lufthansa has begun services between Hamburg and London City Airport. Three flights will operate every weekday, with one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
