Virgin Atlantic has received US approval to allow it to begin services between London Heathrow and Chicago O'Hare from November. Midway Airlines will begin a new service between Louisville, Kentucky, and its hub at Raleigh-Durham from 15 October. The airline plans to offer three daily non-stop flights each way using Canadair Regional Jets. From 31 October, KLM Cityhopper will take over the KLM uk service between Sheffield City and Amsterdam Schiphol, as the Dutch carrier restructures its regional operations. Thai Airways is launching three times weekly services between Bangkok and Danang, Vietnam, from the end of October. Sun Country will expand its services from the winter schedule, adding non-stop flights from Minneapolis/St Paul to Fort Myers, Florida; Harlingen, Texas; Miami, and San Diego, plus a one-stop service to Fort Myers and St. Petersburg, and a new international service to Cancun. Continental Airlines has applied for permission to begin direct services between New York Newark and Buenos Aires from September next year.
