Austrian Airlines is initiating two transatlantic flights at the end of March from Vienna. Daily services to Chicago O'Hare will be introduced, along with five weekly services to Washington Dulles. KLM uk's low-cost carrier buzz, which launched services earlier this month, is starting three new routes - Jerez, Montpellier and Toulouse. Flights will be operated at weekends from 26 March to 28 September. Services to Helsinki, Marseille, Hamburg and Bordeaux will begin from March. Emirates has confirmed that it will introduce services to Bahrain from Dubai this month, with an initial frequency of six weekly flights. Services will increase next month to 11 a week, and become twice daily from the end of March. A mixture of Airbus A330s and A300/ A310s and Boeing 777s will be used. Continental Airlines is introducing two South American destinations - Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and Santa Cruz, Bolivia, subject to government approval. The former will be operated as an extension of its New York-Rio service, and the latter its Houston-Lima flight. US Airways low-fare division MetroJet will introduce four daily non-stop services between Boston Logan and Chicago Midway in March. Following an agreement with Air Tanzania, Kenyan regional airline Precision Air has introduced services between Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta Airport and Mwanza (Tanzania) with a 19-seat Let 410. Southwest Airlines will inaugurate services from its new hub in Albany, New York, on 7 May with 10 daily flights to Baltimore Washington, Las Vegas, and Orlando. British Airways will launch a three times a week service from Gatwick to Abuja/Port Harcourt (Nigeria) this summer using Boeing 767s. In addition, the airline's parallel services to Moscow from London Heathrow and Gatwick will convert to a twice- daily Heathrow-only programme. Air Wales will begin scheduled flights from Pembrey and Cardiff to London Stansted and Luton, with two Embraer Bandeirantes.
