Delta Air Lines will begin codesharing on SkyTeam alliance partner Air France's Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 flights from Paris to both Houston and New York Newark. Air France plans to begin codesharing on Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines' flights to 19 US destinations from Delta's Atlanta hub on 4 March. Emirates is to double its daily service between Dubai and London Gatwick from 1 August. It is also upgrading some of its Heathrow services from Airbus A330-200s to larger Boeing 777-300s, an increase of 137 seats. Northwest Airlines will begin a seasonal daily service between Detroit and Calgary, Canada, on 1 July, using an Airbus A319. Star Alliance partners Air Canada and Thai Airways International plan to codeshare on flights between Toronto, Montreal and Bangkok, via London Heathrow, beginning on 1 March. Gulf Air has concluded a codeshare deal with Qantas which will see the Middle Eastern airline terminate flights from the Gulf to Sydney and Melbourne. Gulf Air passengers will now connect to these destinations from Singapore with Qantas.
