City Air has begun flying two daily services between Cologne and Copenhagen using an ATR 42-500. Daily frequencies will be increased to three from 2003. It already operates services to Copenhagen from Münster and Paderborn in co-operation with Scandinavian Airlines. From 1 December, Singapore Airlines' (SIA) once-weekly Singapore-Mauritius-Johannesburg service will be replaced by two non-stop services to Johannesburg and two weekly services to Mauritius. The number of weekly Singapore-Johannesburg-Cape Town services will be increased from two to three. As of 12 January, SIA's two weekly Singapore-Johannesburg-Durban services will terminate in Johannesburg. SN Brussels Airlines will codeshare with British Airways on routes between Brussels and London Heathrow and London Gatwick from 27 October. They also intend to codeshare on routes to various British regional airports. From 31 October, BWIA West Indies Airways will begin weekly non-stop flights between Washington DC and Tobago and will offer onward services to Trinidad. Qatar Airways is to double its frequencies between Paris and Doha, bringing the total to four weekly flights.
