Russian replacement
Col-Gen Vladimir Andreyev has succeeded Gennady Zaitsev as the head of the Russian Federal Service of Air Transport, at the behest of the new Russian Government. Andreyev has little experience of civil aviation, but rose to a senior rank in the Air Defence Force.
