Saab has confirmed that it has agreed a deal with Airbus to supply the 31m (9.4ft) long fixed section of the A380 mid- and outer-wing leading edge as a risk sharing partner. The Swedish company, which is also bidding for other work on the Airbus aircraft, reckons the wing work could be worth more than $1 billion over the next 20 years.
