Snecma Moteurs of France has contracted Meggitt Aerospace Systems for the instrumentation of 50 Ariane 5 launchers.
The first firm order for 20 launchers will cover the imminent delivery of 3,000 sensor systems up until February 2003.
The equipment will be built by Vibro-Meter SA at its Fribourg complex in Switzerland.
