Shanghai is to become Emirates' 13th Airbus A380 destination later this month.
The carrier will begin thrice-weekly A380 flights from Dubai to Shanghai on 27 April.
Emirates already operates A380 service to Beijing and Hong Kong in China.
The carrier's other 10 A380 destinations are: London Heathrow; Manchester; Paris Charles de Gaulle; Toronto; Seoul; Bangkok; Jeddah; New York; Sydney; and Auckland.
