The US Army Communications-Electronics Command has awarded Litton an $18.9 million contract for the production of advanced night vision systems and image intensification tube.
The company says the total contract value, if all options are taken up, might be as high as $196.5 million. Work will be carried out at Litton's Electro-Optical Systems division bases in Texas and Arizona and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2001.
