SLAM ER separates safely in MDC F-18 test

McDONNELL DOUGLAS (MDC) has taken a further step towards the first powered flight of its Standoff Land Attack Missile Expanded Response (SLAM ER) missile, by successfully separating it from an F-18. The SLAM ER's first flight is set for February 1997.
