Bombardier has sold an additional six special mission Dash 8-200s to Australia's National Jet Systems (NJS), for use with Australia's coastal surveillance service. The aircraft will be fitted with long-range fuel tanks, surveillance radar and infrared television equipment for long-range maritime surveillance, and join five already in service with NJS. Bombardier is refocusing its Dash 8 marketing efforts on the special mission market.
