US maintenance specialist StandardAero has agreed to acquire components provider PAS Technologies.
"With the addition of PAS, StandardAero will now be a key player with new make manufacturing capabilities along with supporting the entire MRO requirements across the full engine life-cycle," states Rick Stine, president of StandardAero's components, helicopters and accessories businesses.
Terms of the transaction, set to close in the next 60 days, have not been disclosed.
Based in Connecticut, PAS offers OEM and MRO solutions for the aerospace, oil and gas, and industrial gas turbine markets. It operates at four US locations and has facilities in Singapore and Romania.
PAS performs work on a range of engine types including the Pratt & Whitney PW4000, CFM International CFM56 and International Aero Engines V2500, says Scottsdale, Arizona-based StandardAero.
Tom Hutton, chief executive of PAS, states: "This is a very strategic fit and we are looking forward to working together to support and expand partnerships with all of our OEMs and to offer our customers a much broader range of capabilities and services."
