Taiwan/Raytheon Tie

Taiwan and Raytheon have concluded an industrial co-operation agreement, as part of 1994's $1.2 billion sale of the Patriot air-defence system to the island. The 30% offset deal calls for Raytheon to transfer technology and purchase electronics and machinery from Taiwan over the next ten years.
