Telair International (Stand W842) has launched the RTT Longreach off-board loading product and is taking orders at Dubai 2003.
The RTT Longreach is a new bolt-on extension for any belt loader used to transport baggage up to a narrowbody aircraft cargo door.
The extension takes baggage into the cargo bay and, thanks to an integrated motorised lift system, allows a single on-board loader to easily and safely stack or unload bags using just one hand.
The bolt-on design can be retrofitted onto any existing belt loader.
Although the RTT Longreach is not actually being exhibited at Dubai 2003, those interested can visit the Telair stand for comprehensive information.
Telair comes into the show on the back of a number of recently announced deals. It received an order from an unnamed customer for seven Hardened Unit Load Devices (HULDs), designed to carry targeted baggage and safely contain a threatening explosion from within. Telair says the customer cannot be named due to security reasons.
It also announced that Air Malta will equip its entire new fleet of 12 Airbus aircraft with 17 Telair Sliding Carpet Loading Systems along with orders from China Airlines for 10 additional Boeing 747 cargo loading systems and Korean Airlines for two additional B747 loading systems.
