A Tianjin Airlines Embraer 190 reportedly overshot the runway while landing in southern China on 25 August, a day after a deadly air crash involving the same aircraft type.

No one was injured in the second incident at Nanning Airport in southern China, but the runway was closed for an hour as a result, says Chinese state media.

The aircraft was arriving at Nanning after a flight from Xian, and was stopping over before flying to Haikou, adds the report.

Officials at Tianjin Airlines were unable to comment on the incident when contacted.

The incident came a day after Henan Airlines' E-190 overshot the runway and crashed at Yichun Airport in north-eastern China. The incident killed 42 of the 96 people on board.
