United Airlines chief executive Glenn Tilton will take a 14% pay cut in addition to the 11% cut he took in December, dropping his base salary by $237,500 to $712,500, the airline said. United also asked its bankruptcy judge to let it reject $16 million worth of consulting and other post-employment contracts with 40 former executives including Stephen Wolf, Gerald Greenwald and James Goodwin.
