Regional aircraft lessor TrueNoord has appointed Michael Adams as European sales director.

He will be based in Dublin, says the lessor.

Prior to joining the TrueNoord, Adams worked for ACIA Aero Leasing as in a sales and marketing role, and for Solenta Aviation in business development.

TrueNoord chief executive Anne-Bart Tieleman credits him with "a wealth of sales experience and knowledge within our specialist field", adding: "I am confident that his contribution will be invaluable to our future success in Europe as we continue to grow and expand our strong portfolio of young regional aircraft types leased to leading operators throughout the region."

Adams himself states: "This sector has been a particular focus of mine for the past 12 years, so I am excited to join TrueNoord at this particular stage in its development and further build upon our presence in Dublin."

In November 2018, TrueNoord secured fresh investment from existing and new investors bringing its total available equity to nearly $400 million as it sought to expand its aircraft portfolio and partially refinance the existing fleet.
