The Eurofighter Typhoon has been demonstrated to the Turkish air force, coinciding with the aircraft’s appearance at the International Defence Industry Aerospace and Maritime exhibition in Ankara late last month. Italy’s Finmeccanica is marketing the Typhoon in Turkey as a potential replacement for the country’s McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantoms.
