TWA names chief
Trans World Airlines (TWA) has named Gerald Gitner its chairman and chief executive, ending a four-month search for a replacement for Jeffery Erickson. Gitner joined TWA's board in 1993 and has served as vice-chairman and acting chief executive since October.
