The US Navy completed the first free flight of the Raytheon AGM-154C JSOW stand-off weapon on 4 December. The AGM-154C is fitted with an uncooled, long-wavelength infrared seeker for autonomous target acquisition capability. The C will also be equipped with the BAE Systems Broach unitary penetration warhead. The A and B versions carryBLU-97 combined effects munitions and BLU-108 Sensor Fuzed Weapon bomblets respectively.
