US freight carrier UPS Airlines, of Louisville, Kentucky, has appointed Burkhard Meyer managing director for the UK, Nordic countries and Ireland, based at the UK headquarters in Feltham, Middlesex. He replaces Chip Barnes, who is to take a key role with UPS in the USA.
