Uzbekistan Airways’ technical division is to perform maintenance services on the Boeing 757-200 fleet of Russian carrier VIM-Avia.

The division says it will perform C-checks on the type and expects to take the first two aircraft from the Moscow-based airline in April.

Uzbekistan Airways already performs maintenance checks on aircraft operated by Krasnoyarsk-based operator KrasAir.
