Singapore's Valuair has secured $15 million from Malaysia-based cruise line Star Cruises in return for a large minority stake in the carrier, which operates Airbus A320s, but in the longer-term wants long-haul aircraft. Valuair chairman and shareholder Lim Chin Beng says that Star Cruises has gained "a little bit over 20%" of the carrier, making it is the largest shareholder.
