I have always been especially happy in my job when my aircraft has been fitted with an angle of attack (AoA) gauge, as is the case on the Northrop T-38, the Cessna Citation and the Fokker 28.

You can immediately see the result of offloading your wing and that your aircraft is back in the flyable envelope, despite one or more true or false safety subsystems telling you otherwise. I keep thinking of the Birgenair Boeing 757 with a simultaneous stall and overspeed warning. One glance at the AOA will verify your aircraft as flyable unless you suffer structural damage of some sort.
