Flight Daily News IS the best air show daily in the world – and that’s official. In the Aerospace Journalist of the Year awards ceremony held at the Pavillon d’Armenonville in Paris, Flight Daily News scooped the world leadership forum award for best air show daily for the third successive year.

Editor Alan Peaford collected the award on behalf of the team of specialist journalists, photographers and designers who join the Flight staff at shows around the world. “This is a tremendous accolade for the paper and the team that produces it,” Peaford says. “To have won the category in each of the three years since the award was launched has given us a real boost.”

The Flight group had another reason to celebrate at the AJOYA event when Flight International’s Max Kingsley-Jones and Guy Norris  won the Northrop Grumman award for best breaking news submission for Can Boeing exploit A380 delays?

The international Aerospace Journalist of the Year Awards, are recognised as the world’s most important awards for aviation writers and broadcasters. Bill Gunston, a former Flight International technical editor and former Flight Daily News journalist, was named as the Royal Aeronautical Society decade of excellence award winner.
