Italy's Delta Interior Design is making its debut at Asian Aerospace, eyeing opportunities in the Asia Pacific aircraft interiors market.
Company founder Matteo Bulletti founded Delta Interior in 2000 with two partners. Today the firm employs 25, and specializes in installing interiors for both private and commercial jets, as well as providing maintenance, record keeping, and other services to aircraft lessors and small to medium sized carriers.
Delta has yet to perform a private jet refurbishment in Asia, but has three customers in the Asia Pacific, two in Malaysia and one in Myanmar. In Europe and the Middle East, where the company is more established, it has refurbished cabins for a number of types, including the Airbus A330. It has also converted a jetliner into a medical aircraft that follows the private jet of a wealthy individual in the Middle East.
"We can fit our interiors to the needs of the customer," says Bulletti, leafing through a stack of business cards. "So far today we've had inquiries from a few aircraft makers and airlines."
