AEROSERVICE AVIATION Center, plans to triple the size of its Miami, Florida flight simulator training base, following the acquisition of a new site adjacent to the international airport. The new site will have eight bays, and plans call for the company to operate simulators for the Boeing 727, 737, 747, 757 and 767, the Lockheed L-1011, and the McDonnell Douglas DC-8 and MD-80.
AeroService's on-airport site houses four simulators - one 727, one 737 and two DC-8s - any two of which will fit in one of the bays planned for the new location.
