Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen and China Aviation Supplies Corporation (CASC) have signed an agreement for the maintenance of Airbus A320 components.

The agreement will cover component maintenance and support for more than 40 A320s operated by Qingdao Airlines.

The contract will see CASC — China’s largest third-party component services provider —  provide component management, while Lufthansa Technik will provide maintenance services.

“During the signing ceremony, both parties reviewed previous project collaborations on Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 and A320 fleets, and held in-depth discussions on their future cooperation in aviation material support,” adds Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen.

This is the latest component maintenance partnership CASC has signed in recent months. In July, it signed an agreement with Beijing-based MRO Ameco, also for A320 component maintenance.
