Malaysia Airlines will partner with MRO firm Revima to provide landing gear services to third-party customers.

This means that Malaysia Airlines will be able to service Revima customers at its Kuala Lumpur maintenance facilities. Revima, in turn, will support landing gear overhauls for Malaysia Airlines’ customers at any one its facilities – including its newly-opened premise in Chonburi, Thailand.

“Revima will also provide technical and training support for fleet landing gear replacements, including knowledge sharing on best practices and facility benchmarking for Malaysia Airlines, allowing competencies and capabilities enhancements,” the carrier adds.

The partnership will also cover joint marketing efforts within the Asia-Pacific region.

Malaysia Airlines group chief operating officer Ahmad Luqman Ahmad Azmi says: “This collaboration provides an amazing opportunity to grow our MRO operations, whilst improving the standard and quality of service we provide for landing gear related matters.”
