Air Macau has received its first A321neo from Air Lease.

This is likely to be MSN 9263, an ACF (Airbus cabin flex) version powered by Pratt & Whitney’s PW1000G engines, Cirium fleets data shows.

The carrier is expecting a second A321neo from Air Lease’s orderbook with Airbus in April.

“We are pleased to announce this first of two A321-200neo aircraft delivery to Air Macau today and be the first to introduce the A321neo to the airline,” said Jie Chen, executive vice president and managing director, Asia and also president of Air Lease Corporation Hong Kong.

“The ALC team has a long history of working with Air Macau and we are thrilled to continue to build our strong relationship with the airline by providing the most modern, fuel-efficient aircraft.”

Cirium data shows that Air Macau has 21 A320 family aircraft in its in-service fleet, comprising of two A319ceos, six A320ceos, three A320neos, and ten A321ceos.

Including the latest delivery, it has on order one A320neo and five A321neos, which will all be powered by Pratt & Whitney’s PW1000G engines.
