This year's Boeing-sponsored Engineering Student of the Year is Agnes Blom, a Dutch doctoral student at the Delft University of Technology. Twenty-six-year-old Blom was the unanimous choice of the judges for her research in the development of advanced, variable-stiffness composite laminate, and is the first female winner of the competition.
