Business aviation services group Jet Aviation has expanded its operations in Switzerland after acquiring rival Luxaviation’s 17-strong Swiss-based managed fleet, and the Zurich fixed-base operation of its subsidiary ExecuJet.
The move gives the General Dynamics business a second FBO in the country’s largest city, with two additional hangars and private ramps. ExecuJet’s site is next to Jet Aviation’s.
Stefan Benz, senior vice-president of regional operations for the EMEA region, says the acquisition will allow Jet Aviation to offer customers more hangar space, and “significantly expand” its European charter offering.
