Boeing and Abu Dhabi’s Tawazun Precision Industries will establish a production facility to produce metal parts and eventually subassemblies for defence and commercial aerospace projects.
The new facility will open in 2016 in Abu Dhabi’s Tawazun Industrial Park. Boeing will provide industrial expertise and training for the new company.
“This endeavour reaffirms our commitment to support the UAE aerospace industries,” said Dennis Muilenburg, chief executive of Boeing Defense, Space, & Security. “Investing in the development of key capabilities through partnerships such as this is of mutual benefit to Boeing and the UAE, and advances opportunities for the UAE around the world.”
