Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $12.7 billion contract to provide post-production engineering and technical support for the US Air Force and foreign military sales (FMS) fleets of F-16 fighters over the next 23 years under a programme designated Falcon 2020.

A second $487 million contract has been awarded to Northrop Grumman to sustain the APG-66 and APG-68 fire control radars.

The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with Lockheed Martin includes the supply of modification kits, replacement parts, logistics support, flight test and technical order maintenance, and on-call support.
