Lewis plunge

NASA's $64 million TRW Lewis remote-sensing-technology satellite plunged into the Earth's atmosphere on 28 September. It went into an uncontrolled spin four days after launch on 22 August on a Lockheed Martin Launch Vehicle (Flight International, 3-9 September).
