British Airways (BA) is suspending flights to Islamabad in Pakistan indefinitely amid security concerns in the region following the bombing of the Marriot hotel in the city which killed more than 50 people.

The Oneworld carrier, which operates daily flights between London Heathrow and Islamabad excluding Mondays, had already cancelled its flight on 21 September and today's flight amid safety concerns.

Now it says it has suspended operations to and from Islamabad indefinitely.
